Cooking
Microlinks offer a cooking school for children ages 5 and up. The objective of the cooking class is to teach children about different cultures and cuisines of the world, alongside teaching them important social skills and etiquette.

Taste for Tots (ages 5-7 yrs old): Five to seven year-olds will discover that even they can have fun and be successful in preparing simple, yet exciting and healthy recipes. Children get to wash, chop, tear, grate, roll and mix their way through each recipe using child-sized cooking utensils. We encourage the kids to get acquainted with every ingredient, with a lot of touching, smelling and tasting along the way. With this level of ownership over the process, even the pickiest eaters will be tempted to taste their creations.
Cost: $150.00 (8 Sessions. 1and half hour/class)
Time: Taste for Tots 10:00am - 11:30am (8 students/class)

Mini Chefs (ages 8-10 yrs old): In our kids cooking classes, 8-10 year-olds begin to work more independently to create healthy and delicious dishes. We guide the children through the recipes step-by-step, helping them tap into their creative chefs within. With the help of our child-sized cooking utensils, children will marvel at their ability to chop, mince, roll, grate, mash and measure. While the kids are getting their hands dirty in our kitchen, we expose them to fun and interesting facts about the natural ingredients they're using-making healthy cooking and eating irresistible.
Our classes are structured in eight-week themed sessions, with a different recipe each week. With each theme, we take the kids on a new culinary adventure, exploring different flavors, cuisines and seasonal produce. With a laminated recipe card from each class, children can share what they learn with the whole family and build their own cookbooks! Each classes are 90 minutes long and are limited to 6 students per class.
